Why Bad Things Happen To Good People

Do you often hear the phrase "why me", " I don't deserve this", "'I was good and did everything to please them, now, see how they repay me"! Evil for good!. When a good person decides to pay back an evil deed the GP (GP stand for good person and BP stands for bad person) as alot to lose.You die many time before your death. A BP is already bad, he or she has nothing to lose, than to build a false wall around them. Whereas a GP, going from good to bad is almost like having a million demons take over you. This is where anger comes in"why me" causes anger to rise in within and the wish for vengeance takes over. The energy spent in thinking and playing around the scenario in your head is a waste of time and energy. In defence of all the good people that have been taken for a ride, in the holy book ,the Lord says "your thoughts are not my thoughts" . Translation, as humans our thinking is very low , we take one another for granted and judge each other. Remember, never judge a book by its cover( a popular phrase,) .God uses imperfect tools to his glory.A GP's mind is filled with love for mankind, while a BP mind is full of malice and destruction, any wonder why GP get easily hurt?.A GP is an open minded person and has nothing to hide and when a BP opens up its all false pretence, its only a way of getting your information and using it against you. The question is, how does a GP protect him or herselve?The Lord says be wise, in the past they might have called you stupid, dumb, gullible,ignorant e.t.c, e.t.c but you are now wiser. When you know better, you do better. A GP should go where they are celebrated not tolerated. Recognize toxic relationships and learn how to walk away . Find people who value you and build from mutual respect. GP must learn to love themselves. Never say "why me" Why not you ,and who else but you ,to fight injustice,stand up for the truth and it shall set you free. Doing good is the most rewarding gift to yourself, your creator and the universe as a whole. Up Good People. UGP

Drama! Drama! Drama!.

left Nigeria about three weeks to be precise and things are falling apart. Two of my employees were arrested for selling my product and the next day our office was locked by the city council. The question is , why is everything falling apart once I left, it's almost like they waited for my departure to zoom in. They were accused of people coming to the market to sell goods produced by other manufacturers.They showed their ID cards to confirm they are the rightfull employees authorise to sell the goods, they insisted on following them to the office, which they did and confirmed that they were real workers of BIM. Now here is the story, when I was informed of this issue one of the men that came to our office (one Kunle Adelaja) asked to speak with me , I guess he didn't know I was far away in the U.S, he thinks am speaking from Abuja.If he knew where I was, he would have asked for more money than the N1,500 he was given. Our company had to pay for their gas. Are we responsible for that? Are we guilty of the said crime (duplication of other people's work?), the answer is no, but they still went ahead demanding bribe. The next day office lock-up seems like a set up. The Landlord adviced us to put a no parking sign in front of our office which we did a year later, (due to lack of funds) we had to prioratize. When we did , he got mad and wanted to know why we had made a lengthy Parking sign and I said "I followed your advice' but I can see he was upset. now we have to pay N8000 to the council just for having the parking sign in front of our office. People leave their cars in front of the office for days, sometimes almost a month, believe me the landlord is a mechanic and the last time before we decided to do the No Parking sign he left a car there for almost two weeks, if not more. We have till monday the 8th of August to go and pay or we will go to court. Since am not there to argue with them, guess what happens!, the full amount gets paid without negotiation. No deduction, not at all Na...................... wait ! Did I say how tough it is to do business in Nigeria?Family... is a no no. Don't think about it. just don 't do it.

What I Know For Sure

If you have lived outside the shores of Nigeria and are now returning to invest, you are a target for most people because having the opportunity of travelling is a crime on its own. People come to you for all sorts of help. The question is, should you be of assistance or ignore their attitude?. Is it the man that promised to deliver the goods and you don't hear from him in three years and when he finally shows up, you ask for your money and he says "after all you have the opportunity of travelling abroad, we are still here struggling here in Nig....." and you wonder at the way he thinks . Just because you live abroad means that you do business and not make profit? what is this? I have employed over ten to twelve workers but all they want is to get paid without doing the work. They are not conciencious workers. They talk more than deliver. Its almost like talking the talk and not walking the work. They practically see work and run. When your attitude to work is serious, they wonder why you bother to get up in the morning and work till 5pm or 6pm ( sometimes longer hours). They think you are crazy to be working that hard. They practically want to do things for you, not becuase they want to, all because of what they can get, they pretend to be efficient for a minimum of two weeks , to be exact, fourteen days later, you begin to see the real personand their attitude to work!. Until then, I'll keep you posted about what I know for sure about.....

Finally finished my work and ready to proceed, heading to Nigeria to finish the rest of my videos Meta Meta. My friend Maggie lost her father and we are all mourning, the unfortunate part of it is that am going to work, leaving her to mourn alone but I will be with her in the spirit. To all the Akpan family we say "Sorry For Your loss" may his soul rest in peace and God grant you the fortitude to move on . This is my month ,and my year does not really start until after my birthday in a week. 2009 is gone with all the heartaches and pain. 2010 is the year of victory, when we move on to new things a year of rejuvenation and restoration. Those that trust in God shall be like a mountain that can not be moved. There is a lot to talk about, the question is where do I start from?
Most of us are side tracked by the unexpected in Haiti, the bible says we should mourn with those that mourn, now we are all in mourning and praying for speed recovery, the question is how long is it going to take to recover?. We don't know. What I know for sure is, we need to pray for healing and restoration for the the people 0f Haiti. I am so, so proud to be an American, seeing the amount of support that's been ditched out individuallyand collectively.

Good To Be Back

I am glad to be back, after all this time. So much to write about, been through thick and thin. Now getting to a better place. The question is where do I begin? It can only be summed up in three words, the bad, the ugly and now the good. I had to go through lot of stuff to get to where I am now.To my fans my church is till going strong and about to release a new vcd/cd titled "meta meta". Will be right back.

Hello everyone, greetings in the name of Jah, Jesus the Christ and our Blessed Mother Holy Mary.

I have been really busy preparing for my New Release, entitled "Songs of Universal Love – S.O.U.L. To coin a popular phrase "Aluta Continua", which means the struggle continues. I don't really like to use the word struggle. I prefer to say "the learning continues."

I wrote, arranged and produced my latest work which I am very proud of... "Orimitikore", " Love So Strong" and " Do You Relate". These three songs are on VCD. The CD is a compilation of ten songs I know you will enjoy. There is something for everyone.

I must mention the fact that I started my own Ministry for Women. Now you are wondering "what is she talking about"? Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things shall be added onto you". The church played an important role in my upbringing. All my life I grew up and spent a lot of time in the church with my parents, brothers and sisters. No wonder I have a deep rooted faith in God. (Teach thy child the way of the Lord and He shall give thee rest.) People who really know my music will testify to this area of my life. I have a strong belief that we are created to worship God and God only. We must love one another as God loved us. Am I preaching? LOL.

On August 19th we celebrated the first year Annniversary of my church, "JEHOVAH'S CORNUCOPIA, CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD."
